When teaching on line, an instructor must be clear, organized, and actively engaged with students. Communicate regularly, give timely feedback, and support for learning.

Assessments should be clear, fair, and varied, avoiding trick questions while promoting critical thinking and understanding. 

Assess students understanding, evaluate teaching effectiveness, identify improvements, and determine what strategies worked or failed. 

Use technology makes questioning engaging, reduces silence, and encourages shy students to participate and share their ideas. 

Understanding learning styles match teaching to student strengths. In a hands on clinical, clinical setting, introduction learning styles during orientation can better support diverse learners success.
