It is vital for the success of the institution and its students for one to know what is being offered to perspective students, to keep up with the industry through various ways, to advise students of what credits can or cannot be transferred.  Also, it's important to remain updated and informed by going to staff and faculty meetings.

It is important to be aware of not only the programs offered to students, but also to know the type of employment they will be ready for once they graduate. It is also to be informed of how the school is being marketed to attract students.

It is fundamental to have fully documented every aspect of what the institution will provide, what is expected of the student and to also verbally inform the student of policies, procedures, and financial commitments. 

From going through this module/exercise it is inherent to be current with the state regulations and polices and abide by them. To have the right information to be able to provide for perspective students about the school and what it has to offer them to advance their education.
