I teach as a technical fasilitator.  It is and always has been hard to get student to come  to class and stay in class.  I do not feel I have gained any tools to help me with this from taking this course.  I even tried to apply some while taking the course.  Sorry.

I think some of the best motovation that I can give students is encouragement of their attemp to get the work done. An "Ataboy" or "Very good" when they get the answer right. Also "Come on you almost have it" when searching for an answer. These can help them find what they need and hang on to it. Some hints on their level can get them going in the right direction. After years and years of doing what I do it is sometimes hard to be the person who does not get it but I still must remember I too… >>>
