I'm understanding that to be an effective instructor I should remain open, entertaining and relevant when discussing topics. 

I now have some new ideas for some "ice breakers" that I can use for my 1st day with my new students.

I've learned that to be an effective role model for my students I must practice professionalism at all times while remaining sensitive, open and available to better serve their individual development needs.
