Activity

Some students may be reluctant to engage due to their limited written communication skills. Some students may try to intimidate an instructor into giving them the best grade possible and may become verbally abusive.

In synchronous discussions, allow time for social interaction at the beginning and end of every session.

Providing credentials and work experience will provide students with supporting evidence that reiterates the ability to teach the specific topic and will allow the student to trust the instruction.

Support infrastructure consist of learning and technical support.

Create mini-lectures of 10-15 minutes while using different teaching techniques to keep the students' attention.

Ease first day jitters by warmly greeting your students, getting to know them by name, and clarifying proper pronunciation.

Make sure the student understands and signs the syllabus after reviewing it.
