I learned that criteria and objectives are the most important things to consider when develping a rubric. 

Communication is important. 

I believe consistency is important for student learning, but it is also important for the teachers organization as well. 

Mkae sure to have good communication with students and set up office hours so students have a window of time that they can expect to receive an email response otherwise they may expect an immediate response all hours of the day. 

Different students have different syles of learning. I certainly identified with avoidance because that seemed to be what half of my students exibited during the online learning at the end of the school year. 

Projecting my presence for this school year if we are online will be interesting because many students are familiar with me from the previous school year, but some will be freshman who I have never met before. An ice breaker activity at the beginning of the year to create a sense of community and communicating my qualifications will be beneficial. 

Students are able to do well in an online platform when lessons are structured in a meaningful way and teachers are there to support the students throughout the learning process.
