It seems that a common mistake performed by instructors is worrying either too much or too little about their class and the needs of their students.

To monitor my students is to truly get to know them and their learning needs, however it does not mean that I will judge them

I learned that there is nuance in dealing with students and my behavior and my perception of their behavior should be well-contemplated

Setting the stage begins even before the first day of class, as expectations should already be decided and thought upon. When students enter the classroom, these expectations should be given to them in an easily disseminated fashion that takes into account how they will perceive their class.

This section helped me understand how best to create and prepare course content in a way that is stimulating and motivational for my students.

This section has allowed me to learn concepts on how best to begin my learning journey with my students and how to affect their perception of the class and myself from the beginning.

Planning and preparation can provide structure, stability, and a sense of safety for students, and is a necessary task for instructors to try to always achieve.

Developing as an instructor seems to entail a lot of retrospection to understand my own strengths and places of improvement. By understanding these aspects of myself, I can better create lesson plans and learning opportunities for my students. On top of this, I must retain my appearance as a leader using credible, candid, compassionate, commited, and clear actions.
