AI can be used to help think of potential scenarios, but should always be double checked and tested before just assuming it is correct.

Critical thinking skills are not always something that is well-developed in students. You have to teach them to have an open mind so they can become comfortable with the thought of trying something new and digging deeper.

Evaluation should be a continuing guideline.

Using rubrics gives a clear indicator of the work required and how it will be assessed.

Use discussion tools to encourage students to learn and help one another.

When developing future courses, I am better able to organize them into student-centered courses.

I have learned that while there are many challenges in online courses, instructors are able to avoid much of this by abiding to a code of conduct set forth by the institution.

I have learned the difference between synchronous and asynchronous work. I also learned that using synchronous work as a method of reteaching is preferable.

I have learned that given the opportunity, it is important to share your experience and credentials with your students. This gives you credibility, while also providing the comfort for the students that allows them to know they are being taught by a professional.
