Evaluation should be a continuing guideline.

Using rubrics gives a clear indicator of the work required and how it will be assessed.

Use discussion tools to encourage students to learn and help one another.

When developing future courses, I am better able to organize them into student-centered courses.

I have learned that while there are many challenges in online courses, instructors are able to avoid much of this by abiding to a code of conduct set forth by the institution.

I have learned the difference between synchronous and asynchronous work. I also learned that using synchronous work as a method of reteaching is preferable.

I have learned that given the opportunity, it is important to share your experience and credentials with your students. This gives you credibility, while also providing the comfort for the students that allows them to know they are being taught by a professional.

I have learned that even though we have a common goal, not every online instructor will reach that in the same manner. Having a full understanding of the course structure and knowing the students per section will guide instruction to reach the ultimate goal.
