I am pot with names - it was really good to hear how important learning g names is in class. And if students see you disorganized externally, they see you as disorganized mentally. 

I appreciate the section. That said if someone thinks they know it, explain it to the class in a language that everyone can understand. If they can’t then they don’t know it as well as they thought 

I like the idea of moving through the class to alert students not paying attention of the instructors presence. 

Just how important it is to set expectations at the start of the class and use the syllabus as a means for delivering those expectations for class and assignments etc.
