While I haven't had the opportunity to revise a course, I see the benefit of having my peers reviewing my redesign. As mentioned in the module, many of them are professionals and can offer a different perspective to the design, flow, and impact.

I intend to make use of audio and visual feedback. I can see the benefit of using these as opposed to just text. I do provide meaningful feedback but I do see the value in taking my feedback to the next level.

I learned that a syllabus can be changed where it makes sense. I have wondered about this as I've had students suggest a newer site or program that could be used to deliver the objective.

I plan to incorporate/use more videos to explain complex concepts. The key will be to utilize videos that are the proper length as to not lose the audience.

The piece that stands out in this module is how to handle conflicts in a group setting. My current course has students contained in groups for the class project. Two groups are experiencing clashes in personalities as well as availability or effort. This module provided some steps I can apply to help correct the situation.

What I found most informative about this module is learning the different student profiles and how you can pick up or categorize the students. By doing so, you can tailor a response that will gather a positive response from the student with the intent of drawing the student to participate more.

One of the tips I've used to project my presence is to discuss my adventure as an ECPI student. I've found that many students in my classes appreciate how I can relate to their struggles. By doing so, the students know they aren't alone as I constantly remind each and every one of them that I am available to them. No matter the time as I do not want to see them become overly frustrated nor to give up.

Being in an online environment can be comfortable and provide a sense of security. However, as instructors, we engage the student, be aware of any outside factors that may be distracting the student, and continuously offer reassurance/praise.
