I really didn't know much about Linkedln when I first started.  I went to a quick presentation last year and thought it would be good to learn how to use.  The CTE school I work for has a large group of students who are fishermen  So I thought this would be something they could use.

This is all so new for me, I didn't think about the ways to help brand yourself.

I try out new sections each time I learn something new, this has been interesting

My goal is to get more aquainted with the program.

I found that if you are going to put your legal name on documents and then show up in opposite sex clothing, maybe they should have said something during the interview or right after.  It shouldn't make a difference during the interview but does change how you would want to be addressed.  I remember a time in school when I didn't know and I justed the given pronoun of she and was yelled at by another student for not using the pronouns he, him.  I was mortified that I was yelled at in front of 15 students.  So I feel… >>>

I think it is important for someone to come out only if they feel comfortable, and no one should ever be shamed or forced to indulge  information about the sexual preference. I feel that each individual should research the company and know what or if they have any policys around LGBTQ

I like the idea of using mentors within the LGBTQ community.  I think with the right combination that could be a benefit not only for the student but for the mentor.  I like this idea and would love to see this done in my school.

Understanding the laws will be helpful in helping our student population.  I truly believe that everyone should be treated equal and that it shouldn't matter what your sexual preference is.  I see so much shaming with the public school system.  However I don't see it as much in our CTE programs.

This has helped me learn some new ways to keep members engaged.  I will definitly use this for our next board meeting.

I never realized how many steps there are to Motions.  I will definitly share that with my staff.
