I learned the attending meetings can help assist in an admissions reps growth and professional development. It is important to stay updated on school policies and accreditation. 

I learned from this module is to network, network, network. Get to know all your departments. Build a rapport with each other and create new opportunities for student growth and development. 

I learned from this module that it is important to be prepared and informed so that when you do speak to a student and or parent you know exactly what you are talking about. There is a lot of paperwork and documentation that needs to be done. I learned that it is important to make sure that the student understands what they are reading and signing and as an administrator, it is important to always go back and review your own work. 

I currently uphold two different roles at my job. I am the admissions counselor/ interim admissions director. Being organized is very important in both of these roles. You have to pay close attention to detail and staying abreast of all academic practices will help to guide all admission professionals and be successful. I hope to learn and grow from all the insightful information.
