Listening carefully will assist the admissions personnel to ask the proper questions.  Their

success depends on making the "right" choice as to their preparation.  Many students

do not realize the importance of goals and how to establish them.

Once your relation starts with your students, stay with them and they will enjoy

your support and confidence builder they need.

I have enjoyed reading others thoughts and appraisals of their experiences and how we can all improve.

When we improve, so do our students.

It is very informative reviewing others in the admissions arena.  We all learn can benfit from this approach.  I am very

glad I chose this module.  It is so appropriate for all of us in the student recruitment arena.

This is a very effective method of how to improve your activities in student contacting.  We all want to enroll students but if we use ineffective methods, we all lose.  Students withdraw very quickly when they feel they have beem mislead.  Many student do not feel confident within themselves, and they will withdraw if they are not confident that they were introduced honestly and completely.

You might want to use a mirror when calling students.  Body language affects your voice and when you are motivated it comes across in both ways.  You can tell if someone is truly interested by their voice inflections.  Try smiling when you are speaking,  It WORKS!

This is a vital part of student recruitment and how to learn the correct approach.  It is also

very interesting to view othe admissions personnel's approach.  It really reminds me that noone has all of the answers.

When we truly listen we ask more approriate questions, which provides the answers you are seeking.

I totally agree!  It is the way we learn and how can we assist students when we fail to care what they say?

Having been in student recruiting for several years, I understand the seriousness of assuring ethics is a major part of student recruitment, especially due to the "bad press" career schools have received.  Success is sustained when we practice our daily activites in an ehical format always.
