The module was very helpful in reminding instructors the importance of knowing the different types of learners. Once aware, teaching can be delivered in the most beneficial way. Instructors should prepare their course outline the day before to ensure a positive flow. It should be rehearsed prior to the lecture.

The module was a reminder that students need to be comfortable in order to succeed.  We are student centric and our goal is for success.  Getting to know the students and vice versa is important.  Involving the students in their goals and expectations should be addressed from the beginning.

The take away from this module is the importance of being prepared. Be organized, gather your supplies, and come early.  I believe its a good life tool.  I believe organization is key. A stressful situation can be avoided by having a plan or check box.  This will allow one to remember things that need to be done or talked about.  Things happen and sometimes the plan doesn't go as it should; however, having a "plan" can alleviate a lot.

This module helped me realize the importance of representation and first time impressions.  Being that this is my first time as a Clinical Instructor, this module stressed the importance of being a role model not only with words but with action.  It will be important to have a foundation of goal setting, expectations, and respect.  Understanding there will different types of learners and having to adjust to accommodate.  I am looking forward to this opportunity.
