Setting clear learning goals helps students present a compelling career vision and align their aspirations with job opportunities. 

I want my students to understand the real world implications for their chosen career and give them clear learning goals so that they can have more control over their learning. They will gain a sense of ownership over their educational journey and are more likely to achieve the success they want.

I have learned that students are more likely to engage in learning when implementing strategies that offer them choice and ownership over their learning process. I will have students create personalized learning goals to make content feel more individualized.

I have learned that students who feel like they are in a safe environment are more likely to engage in learning by asking questions, and not being afraid of making mistakes.
