How do you put humor in a presentation when that is not a part of your personality?

Soft Skills

This subject has really opened my eye to the effectiveness of soft skills on the enhancement of student learning. I have used alot of hard skills in the classroom and now I will be adding more soft skill to better communicate a caring environment for the students. I probably will take this course again in the future to keep me mindful of the needs for soft skill in the learning arena.

Stress in workplace

I also do stress relief on my ride home and to work. I do not have the radio on and just have quietness. It has been very beneficial to promote humor in the work environment

Distracting students

@ellythomas :

My suggestion is to go to the area where the students are being disruptive and ask them the share their conversation if it pertains to the topic being discussed in class. If it does not pertain to the subject, I would reiniterate the importance of the students respecting other students who want to learn the topic being discussed.
