I plan to assess the balance between autonomous work and collaborative work time in my courses.

I like the idea of a joke a day. I really enjoy getting to know people and this will help me get to know my students so I can keep them engaged.

Getting to know students as whole humans helps teachers understand a student's motivations. Tapping into individual motivations will increase student engagement and retention.
