I have learned how essential marketing and advertising are in shaping a student’s admissions experience, since they influence expectations and guide prospective students toward the programs that best fit their goals. I plan to apply this by gaining a thorough understanding of the programs offered at my institution and how they are promoted, so I can communicate accurately and support students in making informed decisions.

I gained a deeper understanding of how essential it is to keep admissions documentation well‑organized and to follow each step of the admissions process with accuracy and consistency. I also learned that admissions representatives should provide students with a general explanation of available payment options, while directing any detailed or technical financial aid questions to the Financial Aid department to ensure students receive correct and compliant information.

I learned that working in admissions in Florida requires understanding and complying with numerous rules, regulations, and institutional policies. Staying up to date is essential to ensure that the information provided to prospective students is accurate, allowing them to make informed decisions about their future careers.
