This module reiterated the importance of employer partnerships and relationship building with your students.  Employers and Students are the primary people we serve.

I do a lot of work with students one-on-one including resume' writing, mock interviewing, offer negotiation, etc.  I would get a lot further and impact more students if I turned those into workshops.  

I've learned workshops and assigned individualized employment search plans would be an effective addition at my school.

I learned developing a mission statement, keeping summary info about the industries in which we train, the school and students getting involved in professional associations, and keeping current publications regarding career services are all important pieces of a great Career Services department.  I am reorganizing our department, and this got me thinking.
