Just like a positive attitude, positive energy is just as contagious. When an individual emits negative energy, it surely will effect surrounding peers. 

A positive attitude is contagious. With a positive attitude, not only will an individual be successful, it is very likely that the colleagues around this individual will benefit as well!

When you approach a conversation with structure, active listening, and genuine care, coupled with the product knowledge and benefits of the program one should already be equipped with, the decision-making aspect for the student should be one with ease. This initial connection will be important for the student's success, as next steps and clear expectations should be set if this is the right program for them!
