Often time "blue-collar" trades students and even instructor feel that "soft skills" are not important. This narrow view can really affect a student's ability to obtain employment or continued job growth.
It is critical that schools emphasize the important of these essential skills so students and instructor better understand and apply these skills for increases in student effectiveness.
