Activity

Students are very easy to get distracted and loose focus, as an instructor, to keep students focused, asking questions, incorporating classroom group learning activities, individual/group projects and deadlines keeps teaches students responsibilities. Makes learning fun.  Monitoring each individual student and keeping the students informed of  class progress, and answer students questions in a timely manner. Students are our main priority.

Critical thinking is a great tool for identifying each individual student understanding of the course. 

Group activities is the best approach, students learn better

Deductive= TopDown= Scholar & Inductive=Bottoms up= Facilitator

I will utilized these two components to improve my lesson plans.

 

Different methods that a facilitator can utilized to manage the class into a positive outcome

Walking around during class sessions is important, to get to be familiar with each one of your students. Using games to practice the lesson learned is fun and student learns successfully.

This lesson help me understand how to assist and identified student w learning disabilities. How to help students w difficulties on the areas of reading and comprehension.

Demonstration, repetition can be applied with ELL students. Sounding the words out loud helps them memorized the lesson, the amount of words to learn it's important, 5 to 7 words is recommended.

Group assignment is a good practice for your class management. moving around the classroom, monitoring the groups, making observations helps you identify any areas of concern.

I used a lot of facial expressions, gestures, and hands movements, at one time in my life, I was told to refrain from doing so, now, after this lecture, I learned that is acceptable to used during your class, keep students focused on you.
