Mr Tice, I admire your words of advice, and have played the 'what if' game with my son and fellow scouts for many years, not only to get their creative minds working, but to prepare for the unexpected. My question stems from the classroom though....when I implement the 'what if' game in the classroom, with 15+ students, the conversation can quickly consume the entire class period, when my goal was to stimulate conversation, not have it take over the period. Any suggestions on how to stimulate the creativity, yet limit it, or maintain it while not stiffling growth?
