I like these for the reason that they are hassle-free for the instructor. I don't use them because they are hard to proctor, they become open internet browser tests. I am finding that I still prefer to hand out my printed tests and quizzes and collect and grade them myself although the "times they are a changin'" as Bob Dylan once said.

I think the students that I teach are on their phones so much already, I am not sure I want to encourage them to be on them even more. I do understand how it could benefit a classroom situation but having something class related like that, almost gives them free reign to use their phones whenever and however they want during class.

Boy, I must be way behind the curve, I use power point and my knowledge of the subject to engage the student. It requires a lot of energy but I love what I do. Things like Google Apps and wikispace are things I am going to have to learn more about...very interesting!

Colin Thanks for the advice I will use it, and I am also a believer that we all make mistakes and I am ok with it...because I too make them! Best regards! Jerry Piper

I believe as an instructor the best thing I can do is provide feedback for my students. I do this in many ways I talk to them about study habits and if they do poorly on an assignment; I ask what they did to study and coach them on better preparation next time. I believe it is also hard to do correctly which is why I enjoyed this information, I can use it to enhance what I have already been doing. My question is does it ever get any easier to deliver feedback?
