About me

Activity

I agree.  I am not currently teaching medical terminology, but have already integrated some forms of the activities mentioned into my anatomy and physiology course.  The students really enjoyed it!  It also broke the lecture cycle on more than one occasion when we wrote the questions for the game one day and played it on another.  It was great as a quiz review.

  1. What have you learned? The topic that impressed me the most was Classroom Assessment Techniques (CATs).  I was already familiar with the different types of objective testing.

  2. How can you apply it? I plan to apply Classroom Assessment Techniques (CATs) in my professional practice.

  3. What support do you need? The link that was supplied in the course was a great beginning resource and I plan on researching Classroom Assessment Techniques (CATs) in more depth.

The link below provides a collection of CATs you may want to use in your classroom: http://www.ntlf.com/html/lib/bib/assess.htm

I enjoyed ED103.  The Classroom Assessment Techniques are of particular interest to me.  The link included in the module has given me some ideas on how to structure some assessment tools for my anatomy and physiology classes.
