Hello Alfred,

I agree that this course is very informative and contain updated information on the current trends and status of online learning and perceptions.  I have also been teaching online for several years.  However, some to new research presented was interesting to read. This course also provides suggestions for outreach techniques to employ in establishing rapport with students.   The statistics about the growing rate of online education provides information that indicates future trends in online education. It would be interesting to see an update on the course in a couple of years presenting new statistics.

Best wishes,

I completed the EL 110 course and found it to be very informative and current.  With the fast paced changes of social media, I appreciated the attention to social media terminology and the presentation of the function and applications of the new innovations in online communications.  I also found the suggestions for incorporating social media as an extension of courses very helpful.  Integrating social media into online courses can assist in helping students to meet the terminal course outcomes.  Not only is this beneficial in helping students be successful in academic settings, but it aligns with students, who are presently involved with social media. … >>>

I just completed EL 107.  This course focused on using technology to create dynamic learning environments.  I was impressed with the course because of the many aspects of presenting instruction using mobile devices, smart boards, wikis and blogs.  This type of information not only provided key concepts about computer innovations and software but provided different approaches to conducting assessments and viewpoints on charting student progress in a hybrid and blended environments.  Very good training.
