I feel that this session helped me to see what I was doing right and not so right and to see other things that I can do as an instructor to assist students with issues. I know that I have felt responsible for students who have dropped courses due to issues outside of what I can control. I know now that I can redirect the student to the appropriate resources. I also fell that by doing so, I am acting in the best interest of the student and not failing in my role.
