Teachers shouldn't be so hard on themselves! We are human, admit mistakes and move on!

I have had to deal with angry and cheating students. I feel consistency and empathy go a long way without allowing them to try to make excuses for their unprofessionalism.

I learned how different strategies can be used to manage a classroom.

The college scenarios aren't really going to be something I can do as I do not have time between my classes to debrief. I can think things over at a later time and work out issues, but it may be delayed.

Instruction should allow for accommodation without others seeing evidence of such changes. Seamless.

Teachers must be consistent and not undermine students who struggle with these issues.

Students have varying degrees of deficits related to these learning disabilities.

There are laws protecting the rights of those with disabilities so we must ensure we are accommodating the disability.

Students and families must be forthcoming about disabilities because services can not be retroactive. Loss of learning due to this can impact greatly in their future education.

There are many different variations of disabilities and I should be prepared to deal with them all.
