i feel like with me i want to show my students that i am here for them and to always ask questions cause i still ask them and that i am here for them 

make sure that all students can see you good when doing your demonstration and they are paying attention to you. Then after they do their demonstration see where some had problems and maybe go over it again so they understand it better

getting to know your students names and sharing something about you with them will help with both parties 

make it an effort to be early and greet your students. maybe even chat a few up to see how they are doing in class and understanding everything okay

I believe that the way you carry yourself in the classroom can determine how well your students are and showing them respect just as you would want it back
