There are four different learning styles and its important to switch between them as a teacher..

The first day of class sets the tone and expectations for the rest of the course.

It's important to make goals and objectives for your class and set the standards for how they will be evaluated, and making those clear.  It's also important to come early to class and take notes about individual student needs so they can be met as the class proper ends for the day.

So far I've learned ways to model my behavior in order to maintain a positive and productive learning environment for my students.  In addition to that, I've learned that I should keep in mind my instructional style should be conducive to the material we are learning.
