Activity

Comment on micah sapp's post: I think gamification is just a buzz word to excite the kids.  It has been around; used as motivators, skill testers; icebreakers.

There is a huge generation span of gamers, so this qualifier makes a lot of sense

Comment on T Wayne Hunsaker's post: Look at the companies hiring your students and see if they have feedback.  Also, for a final evaluation, I'd have someone who has been in the industry try the exam.  Someone who is a poor performer at work should at least pass the test.

Comment on T Wayne Hunsaker's post: agreed.  There's nothing like in person feedback.  I like to see not only does the student get the right answer, but how they got there.

I suppose with more complicated training, active learning has its merits in the beginning stage.

In order to implement something like this, a new team or committee must be created?  How expensive can this get?

What identifiers show that this should have happened a while ago?

The followup is an important stage in coaching.

After calming down. I find if you gain a new perspective on the event or problem, a crisis may, at best, be avoided.

As for indicators of people going through crisis, this allows me to be proactive in helping the workforce.

Yes, taking time to excercise is very important.  It almost feels like an addiction if I miss a run.  Even better, it's good to haave a partner who helps you keep motivated.  My boy Miller keep us motivated, and he's a food nut, so I think I'll become more open to trying healthier food options. I usually stick to the same food routine, but opening my pallet to different, healthier foods is a welcome change.
