I think it's great for employers to accept high school students and train them.  All students are not college oriented and we need students ready for the work force upon graduation.

Assessments are necessary in order to evaluate what level the student is presently in.

Each student learns differently.

I agree learning preferences and learning disabilities are different.  It's challenging for a teacher to have both in a classroom when you have 30 students in the class.
