True academic assessment honors diversity—both in how students process information and how they communicate it. By aligning holistic evaluation with adaptive instruction, educators create an equitable space where every student's strengths are recognized and developed.

True academic growth occurs when we separate linguistic access from literacy acquisition, ensuring every student has the tools and opportunity to comprehend and express complex ideas.

True inclusivity goes beyond passive fairness—it requires actively understanding, respecting, and honoring the individual identities of every learner.

While instructing a cohort, it is vital to use inclusive language in order to connect with more students which will then help the instructor to learn more about their students and specific learning preferences.
