I learned how to mitigate risks for burnout. I love the idea of creating a 21 day routine that includes a balance of exercise, sleep and work where it will help in mitigating stress and burnout. 

I use technology in the classroom to better communicate with them on various platforms outside of the class for better student success. 

It is important to create diverse learning group to build student confidence and promote a positive leanring experience.

I learned that floating or moving around the classroom is very effective to observe all students. It is important to also have effective hand gestures, facial expressions and voice tones to engage students into the lecture. 

It is important to have a good balance in the grades between assignmnets, exams and quizzes. Teaching style should also fit the needs of the institution. 

When students are not focused, it is important to direct their focus on a different activity to keep them engaged.

Provide effective powerpoints by having 3 to 5 points per slide to assist students graps the material better and for better engagement. Too much information per slide will create a loss of focus. 

Tailoring your teaching style to fit all student learning styles and needs. Making sure you are organized, prepared, enthusiastic and being confident in the class material. Communication and showing interest in the students progression with constructive feedback are crucial for an active and safe learning environment.

Safety is very important every lab session. Therefore, personal protective equipment (PPE) should be used at all times in the lab when dealing with hazardous materials. 

Evaluating students is essential to the learning outcomes of the students. Utilizing the rubric and the different levels of Bloom's taxonomy is great help in constructing evaluation of students.
