Since I teach Anatomy and Physiology, I've found it quite beneficial to internationalize my instruction.  So far, I've tied in topics of differences in health policy and access to proper healthcare into my reinforcement activities.  To aid in providing a different perspective to my lessons.

Incorporating the cultures present in the classroom into the course's lesson planning has the potential to be beneficial to the students in the classroom, as it improves student engagement and they are better able to relate to the content meaning the students are more likely to retain the information being taught to them.

The introductory course brought awareness to the need for integration of international curriculum into the classroom in order to remain current and add marketability to students as they enter the workforce.
