Lifelong learning in crucial to becoming a good instructor, always wanting to learn new things and being able to reflect on weak parts of yourself are key parts to becoming better and better each day. 

Never forget the importance of non-verbal communication. Students will always pick up on the ques and could reflect badly on the instructor if they are presenting the wrong ques.

A good refresher on the importance of positive correction to make sure you do not deter the student from participating in the class.

Critical thinking is a skill that will show the students effective ways to trouble shoot systems and then come with logical ways to find a solution. Once taught this skill will stay with students forever.

Making sure to try to connect what you are teaching to real world situations are important because it can be easier to reach to students' common goal of why they need to learn the subject.

Remember technology is not a must use but should be worked in to keep the students engaged and interested.

It is important for instructors to understand the generational learning preferences because that way it can speed up getting the students involved and interested in the topic of class. 

This was a very good refresher for each generation and gave some insight to their quirks and features.

Be mindful of the reward system you create for your students. Sometimes over rewarding can have a negative effect on the class.

The teacher has a very large part of brining the correct energy to class and trying to get the rest of the class to join in on the energy level and get excited for the new things they will be learning.
