I loved the "Moments of Truth" statement and what it stood for. Moving forward, more focus on retention-supporting activities and who we delegate for this job will need to happen. Likewise, students who are late to enroll will be given more time and attention, now knowing they are at a higher risk of leaving.

Faculty presence is necessary for a successful visit. The interactions can be informative for the student as well as impactful. There are simple, small ways faculty members can help to make students feel welcome and at home.

A student's first impression of campus can vary. It's not something you can control, but something you can be aware of! Make things personal and intimate.

While this class isn't really what I was hoping for (I am in admissions for a private elementary school), there are some valuable takeaways that I can implement. I believe being transparent is extremely important to potential students! I also feel that it's important to view the classroom setup and expectations from their perspective to really understand how you can help them to succeed.
