Activity

From module 103, I realized that Socratic method leads/guides to students to greater understanding and higher level of thinking.  This method is designed to draw a variety of ideas from students.  I plan to use more questioning methos and thought-provoking lectures instead of just delivering information to students.

I have learned and acknowledged ways of how students retain information better and faster.

I feel more confidence!  I feel I have better approaches to deliver information to students and help them apply what they learned in the field.

I plan to use/integrate all 4 major learning styles (written, visual, auditory, and kinesthetic) into my lectures, labs, and clinical settings.  I feel this information is going to have a phenomenal positive impact on my teaching career!  I am so grateful I am going through this training.

This is a good website to share with clinical instructors and nursing students.

Using different types of teaching, learning, and lectures styles will impact most of the students and keep them engage and motivated to learn in class.

Practice! Practice! Practice!  Preparation is key to successful lecturing, also I learned to keep lectures short, sweet, and to the point for 15 to 18minutes max.

Best practices is to implement concepts learned in this course.  As an instructor/teacher the best action plan is to plan in advanced, and my major challenges are to keep students motivated with positive thinking.

Thank you for your valuable information

Thank you for your time and consideration.

What have you learned from this module and how do you intend to apply it? Take a few minutes to post your response and learn more from your peers.

I learned as instructors and teacher we/I can never forget that I need to wear and model my 3 Ms; Manager, Model, and Motivator for our students.

Thank you so much for this information.
