That it is important to continually assess my grading style and criteria. To let others review my grading criteria that have more experience than me. Finally, to keep my grading up to date so that all of my students know where thier grades stand at all times. 

I have learned how important it is to identify my students learning styles and create different activities that will keep each of them engaged in learning the material I am presenting to them. 

I learned that I need to establish an open line of communication with my students and allow them to come to me with thier concerns and frustraions. I need to be a good listerner and try to work with them within the guidelines of the school. 

I have learned that I will have to deal with students who have different personalities and sometimes conflicting personalities. I will have to be able to identify those particular personality traints and deal with them accordingly. I will also need to keep records of my interactions with students, and keep copies of school guidelines on hand in case I need to use them or share them with students. 

I learned how important it is to foster participation in my online class through asynchronous and synchronous discussion. I plan to use both of these techniques in my classes as we have video chat as well as discussion boards available to us during this time. We have also made sure that our students have access to both as well. 

I learned how important it is to make youself available to your students and in turn get to know them even though they are online. My school is on MS Teams for online classes and we get to have that connection through video, and everyone seems to really like it. 

I have learned that students need to know someone is looking out for them when learning online. They need not only learner support but also technical support. Students also need to know that thier instructor is there for them and willing to help guide them in this online environment. I have also learned how important it is to have a structured class that is set up in modules containing lessons that are easy to navigate for my students.
