I didn't really consider the "small talk" I make with students before/after the video lectures to be more than pleasantries and an opportunity to get to know them better. I was glad to see it mentioned in this module as an appropriate and encouraged thing to do.

I'm already doing most of these things, which is great. This segment of the course gave me validation that what I'm doing is appropriate and proper.

I'm definitely realizing that there certainly is more than one way to instruct and teach the same materials.
