Always lead by example in the classroom setting and always be prepared for class.

Students learn best when the instructor is prepared, ready to teach, and is always open to questions. Knowledge is key.   

Having EQ can improve soft skills in the long run. 

I learned one of the most important goals of a college education is the preparation for success in the classroom setting for the real world. The most important soft skills employers value are emotional intelligence, communication, problem-solving, collaboration, critical thinking, conflict resolution, flexibility, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Having the right employees can make an impact on the delivery of work.  

Lectures are a great way to present in a classroom setting, but being detailed and concise can get the information across. Establishing rapport and being approachable can change the dynamics of the classroom environment because students feel heard. 

Soft skills and work skills can deffer greatly, but it is important to have and maintain soft skills to effectivity deliver information to students where they don't feel judged or belittled. 

It is always important to learn the names of all students and greet them accordingly. Always be ready and prepared for class because it sets a standard for the class and expectations.  

I think it is important to always have a positive attitude while in the classroom, and demonstrate good behavior. 

Soft skills are important skills to have and use in our lives, not just at work, and being able to have common sense and make the right decisions at all times is essential to have a productive life.       

I found it very informative. It's great to know that FERPA protects the rights of students while they attend school. That is one less thing to worry about for many students.
