As I was going through this module, High Standards stuck out to me, particularly in the area of Financial Aid. Often times as I'm meeting with a student the "soft side" of me wants to set them at ease and make it seem simple, but it's not always simple. It struck me as I was reading that it said, "anything worth achieving will be difficult." So, when I'm working with a student who has a difficult situation, I need to remember that being transparent about the difficulty can be a good thing if done correctly.
