Fair Consumer Practices should be considered in all aspects of admissions- from marketing to enrollment agreements. Social media should be compliant on all platforms.

I learned that each state has their own laws and regulatory practices. In addition, I now know there are specific regulations in order to work with veterans.

I learned that it is important to be up-to-date with the state's requirements and then see how your institution has implemented it. Disclosure to potential students and current students is a top priority.

This module taught me that transparency and compliance are vital to the admissions process. This knowledge should be assimilated by any faculty and staff who might interact with a potential student.

I learned about transferring credits specifications and licensing/accreditations needs vary based on the department and their needs. It is important to make sure this knowledge is up to date in my reference guide.

Each institution will enact their own student programs and reach prospective students in different ways. Marketing and admissions work together to ensure rules are followed and correct information is advertised.

Understanding the institution's processes and options for students is critical for proper admissions workflow. Staying organized is for the benefit of the institution and the student.

This is my third admissions position, but my first time taking this course. I am refamiliarizing myself with the basics and creating a reference notebook for the future.
