Increasing Student Retention by Flipping the Classroom | Origin: ED410

The flipped classroom model improves student retention by promoting active learning. Students review content before class, allowing class time to focus on critical thinking, case studies, and discussion.

I learned that this approach increases engagement, accountability, and helps identify learning gaps. In my practice, I would use videos or readings before class and focus on NCLEX-style questions and clinical scenarios during class.

Overall, this method can enhance understanding and better prepare students for real clinical practice.

Promoting Safety, Respect, and Accountability Through Title IX Training

In this training, I learned the importance of Title IX and VAWA regulations in creating a safe and respectful learning environment. I gained a better understanding of how to recognize, respond to, and report incidents of sex-based harassment and violence, as well as the importance of providing support and resources to students.

In my role, I will apply this knowledge by promoting a safe and inclusive environment, responding appropriately to any concerns, and ensuring that students are aware of available resources and reporting options. I will also maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and follow institutional policies when addressing any situations.
