It is so important to be able to accommodate for students with disabilities.  Every student needs to be able to learn.

I have learned that is it impotant to be consistent in feedback and establish rules for communication in an online course.

I feel that choosing the right communication tool is key to get across the information needed.

Reply to Lawrence Bufalino's post:I agree.  I will keep a watchful eye on student engangement and participation as the course moves forward.

I like the idea of combining both types of learning into a virtual class.  Immediate response is important in some cases but leaving comments for the instructor for later works well too.

I learned about many different teaching styles that I didn't even realize existed.

I like the idea of providing a reward for good participation.

I learned that I can use a course module template to begin deveopling my course.

I learne that elearners may also experience technical issues which can cause them to drop out of an online course.

I liked learning the difference between asynchronous dicussion and synchronous.  I think it helps to better understand how to get the student to their individual highest potential.
