I learned that a mixture of question type works best for assessment of knowlge and or skills gained. I plan to use the method of haveing a mixture of test questions  to test knowlage. Also skills demo to assess hands on skills.

Made me think about how I can draw out better questions and ask better questions.

I think its a great idea to do a Learning Styles Assessment to find out your students learning style.

Use varied technics to keep students attention. Mini lectures work well because we can only take in about 18 minutes of onfo.

Introdusing myself and having the students introduce them selfs helps make them feel more comfortable. Ice breakers also hel[ with  first day uncertenty.

An inviting classroom with out distraction will help students feel comfortablr and focused. Being on time and perpared will set a good tone.

As aintstructer you have 3 roles :model, manage, and motivate. An instructer who is excited about what by teach keep the interst of the students. Dress and act appropriately for the field you teach.
