Students must be involved in their learning in order to increase student empowerment and engagement. 

It is important to understand/know your audience to determine if the form of technology is conducive to their needs. 

I have learned that there are different forms of contact hours that will still apply if using technology in the classroom. 

There are multiple means to make LMS accessible for the student with a disability. 

I have learned that many are involved when considering making changes to an area of education. Most importantly, the students are of upmost consideration due to us doing this for them. 

The learning process works with both the student and instructor work together to create an enthusiastic learning experience. The instructor can assist the student by keeping them engaged, motivating them, and supporting them. 

In this model, it was reemphasized on the importance of building rapport with your students. This is very important because students must feel like they are respected and valued. Instructors contributing to building rapport are invested in the learning process of their students, as well as creating connections that will help to promote a better learning experience. 

In order to promote enthusiasm in learning, the instructor must also have a sense of enthusiasm. This will help to guide students in the direction for successful learning and help to promote the retention of students.  

It is very important to know and learn your students. This will allow you to facilitate instruction in a much better manner. 

I learned that teaching is an interactive process; get to learn the students, circulate the classroom, and ensure that you build rapport with your students.
