About me

Hello Everyone,

My name is Michelle Desarmes, and I’ve been a Registered Nurse for five years.  I am currently working as a Hospice Nurse. I graduated Miami Dade College with an Associate Degree in art and Associate Degree in nursing, five years ago. I currently graduated with bachelor degree at Florida Atlantic University and currently enrolled in the Master’s Program.  I am taking this course to better enhance myself with admitting students at my school.

As a hospice nurse; I work to maintain the comfort and quality of life for those who are diagnosed with terminal diseases.  I utilize compassionate communication with my patients and their families. As a hospice nurse I have good observation skills, knowledge to alert the doctor and others about changes in patient conditions.
