Everyone does not learn the same. It is important to make sure you are using different teaching styles. 

It's important for you to introduce yourself as well as get to know your students' names too. 

Its best to arrive early and go over your checklist to make sure you are prepared.

There are different types of students online as there are in person. They may not be as big of a distraction during online courses, but it is important to try and redirect them.

In this section I learned its important to be able to have interaction for both synchronous and asynchronous discussions. It may be easier with synchronous because they can see your face but when not in person it is just as important make sure they know they'll get positive feedback too.

Its important to get to know your students even if your not face to face. This will allow you to connect on a student teacher level.

Its important to make sure you know how to work the CMS. The students should get an orientation prior to using the platform and its a good idea we as instructors complete it too.

Help them with different small group activities or a scavenger hunt.
